Democratic Nominees for U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Cindy Banyai for FL-19 and Allen Ellison for FL-17, announce their joint endorsement for office.
Fort Myers, FL - Jacquelyn McMiller, candidate for Fort Myers Myor, and Dr. Cindy Banyai, Democratic Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives Florida 19, announce their mutual endorsement.
Ms. McMiller noted that Dr. Banyai will be a dedicated servant for the residents of the Florida 19th Congressional District. “Cindy Banyai will bring a fresh voice to Florida’s 19th Congressional District. She will be a tireless fighter in Washington for the people of Southwest Florida,” McMiller said. “Working together, we will secure federal funds to address the crumbling infrastructure in our City and identify resources to address the threats to our environment. I’m proud to endorse her run for the U.S. House of Representatives and look forward to working with Cindy to transform Fort Myers for its residents.”
“Fort Myers is my home and I know it will be in good hands with Jacquelyn McMiller. I am proud to be in the fight with a strong woman and community servant like her.” said Cindy Banyai.
Jacquelyn McMiller announced her candidacy for Mayor of Fort Myers in response to the failure in leadership from the Mayor and her opponent to address issues such as criminal activity and corruption in the city’s police department; along with the habit of prioritizing outside interests over the citizens of Fort Myers. The citizens of Fort Myers will cast their vote for Mayor on November 3rd. Florida voters will have the option to vote-by-mail and vote early — in addition to voting in person on November 3rd.
